Heat Shrink Tubing from Remke Energy is available in a full range of sizes in thin, medium and heavy wall styles. All sizes of our heat shrink tubing meets UL, CSA and military specifications. It is made of flame retardant, specially formulated, cross-linked polyolefin with excellent electrical, chemical and physical properties.
Thin Wall
Tough and flexible, Remke Energy Thin Wall Heat Shrink Tubing can be used for insulation, harnessing, strain relief, and identification purposes in a variety of industrial & military applications. Features include:
- Shrink ratio of 2 to 1
- 14 standard sizes in 6 colors
- Standard 4 foot lengths
- Dielectric strength 600V/MIL (24kv/mm)
- When heated above 120°C will shrink unrestricted to 50% of its supplied diameter
Medium Wall
Remke Energy Medium Wall Heat Shrink Tubing is designed for insulating and sealing low voltage cable where lighter weight and greater flexibility are important. It is internally coated with a dual purpose thermoplastic liner to provide excellent insulating/environmental sealing protection for splices, connections, jacket repairs and terminations. Features include:
- Shrink ratio of 3 to 1
- 11 standard sizes in black only
- Standard 4 foot lengths
- Dielectric strength 600V/MIL (24kv/mm)
- When heated above 120°C will shrink unrestricted to 33% of its supplied diameter
Heavy Wall
Remke Energy Heavy Wall Heat Shrink Tubing provides maximum reliability for insulating and sealing electrical connections & terminations including direct burial, URD and submersible installations. CSA Listed, this tubing is internally coated with a dual purpose thermoplastic liner for excellent insulating and environmental sealing protection. Features include:
- Shrink ratio of 3 to 1
- Rated for 600V, 90°C continuous use
- Meets ICEA & NEMA insulations thickness standards
- 9 standard sizes in black only
- Standard 4 foot lengths
- Conforms to ANSI C-119.1
- Western Underground Guides 2.4 & 2.5
- Dielectric strength 500V/MIL (20kv/mm)
- Heated above 120°C will shrink unrestricted to 33% of its supplied diameter
